We Will Unmask Criminals in Politics: CM Chandrababu
Several bills were passed in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly today. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and issued a stern warning that their disruptive activities would not succeed. He remarked that he had never seen a political leader like Jagan Mohan Reddy and made it clear that those using politics as a shield for criminal activities would not be spared. "We will unmask the political facade of criminals," Chandrababu asserted.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of maintaining peace and security in the state to attract investments. He announced measures to strengthen the Preventive Detention (PD) Act, highlighting that strict punishments are necessary to instill fear and prevent crimes. He cautioned that illegal activities, including unauthorized sand and rice transportation, would be prosecuted under the PD Act. Chandrababu reaffirmed the government’s responsibility to uphold law and order, stating that the coalition government is fully committed to ensuring public safety.
"Even with all these efforts, I am not entirely satisfied," he said, pointing out that some individuals with extremist tendencies continue to disrupt peace. "However, this government is determined. Our fight will continue until law and order are firmly established in Andhra Pradesh," he concluded.
