Ramoji Rao, the chairman of the Eenadu Group and a renowned figure in Telugu media, passed away at 4:50 AM on Saturday. At the age of 88, he succumbed to severe health issues. He had been suffering from health problems for some time and was shifted to Star Hospital in Nanakramguda when his condition worsened. He passed away while receiving ventilator support.

On the 5th of this month, Ramoji Rao experienced breathing difficulties, prompting doctors to implant a stent. After the stent procedure, his health became critical, leading to his hospitalization. For some time, the 88-year-old had been dealing with various health problems and had previously been hospitalized for treatment.

Ramoji Rao was not only a media mogul but also managed numerous businesses. He oversaw Eenadu Group, Ramoji Film City, Margadarsi Chit Funds, and Priya Foods. Under his leadership, Eenadu became a major force in Telugu media.
