Former Congress chief and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will not attend the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations. Due to health issues, Sonia Gandhi has canceled her Telangana tour. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally went to Delhi to invite Sonia Gandhi as a special guest for the celebrations. Accepting the invitation, Sonia Gandhi had promised to attend the event. According to the schedule, she was supposed to arrive in Hyderabad on Sunday morning.
Sonia Gandhi, who has been experiencing health problems for some time, sought advice from her personal doctor regarding this tour. Following the doctor's recommendation to avoid the trip for health reasons, Sonia Gandhi decided to cancel her Telangana tour. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced that Sonia Gandhi would not be attending the state formation celebrations due to health reasons.
