Amaravati: Nara Bhuvaneswari, the wife of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu, has accused the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh of rampant corruption and land encroachments. During her ongoing visit to Kuppam district, Bhuvaneswari criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly seizing any vacant land they find, including spaces designated for religious and burial purposes. She stated that nearly 80% of Waqf lands have been encroached upon by the YSRCP.
On the second day of her tour in Kuppam, Bhuvaneswari engaged in special prayers at the Samaguttapalli Kadiri Narasimha Swami Temple on Saturday morning. She later spoke with Muslim women near the TDP office in Kuppam, highlighting the unfulfilled promises made to minority communities under YSRCP's five-year rule. She expressed her deep disturbance by the suicide incident involving Misba, reflecting her concern over minority welfare under the current administration.
Furthermore, Bhuvaneswari hosted a grand celebration at PCS Medical College for Chandrababu Naidu's 75th birthday, with key figures such as Telugu Youth State Secretary Animini Ravi Naidu and MLC Kancherla Srikanth in attendance. The festivities included cake cutting and interactions with team members and local leaders.
