Rouse Avenue Court reserves verdict on BRS MLC Kavitha's bail plea in Delhi Liquor case

New Delhi: The Rouse Avenue Court has reserved its verdict on the bail petition of BRS MLC Kavitha, who is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail in connection with the Delhi liquor case. The arguments concluded in the court, following her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials from her residence in Hyderabad on March 15.

With the court's permission, the ED interrogated her for ten days, after which she was placed under judicial remand and sent to Tihar Jail. Kavitha filed a bail petition in the court, with senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi presenting arguments on her behalf. The court has reserved its judgment and is expected to deliver its verdict on Monday.
