Kavita's Husband Files Contempt Affidavit in Supreme Court Over Delhi Liquor Scam Arrest

 MLC Kavita, who was arrested on Friday in connection with the Delhi liquor scam is currently under the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Anil, the husband of Kavitha, filed a contempt affidavit in the Supreme Court today. He mentioned that the ED arrested Kavita despite the Supreme Court's previous orders, which are contrary to the arrest made before the scheduled hearing of Kavita's case on the 19th of this month.

There is a possibility of a hearing on this petition today. ED officials, who interrogated Kavita in their custody yesterday, are expected to continue their interrogation today. The interrogation conducted yesterday was recorded on video. Kavita answered some questions posed by the officials, while she remained silent for others, according to sources. After the interrogation, Kavita was visited by her brother KTR, her husband Anil, and their lawyer Mohit Rao, among others.
