Amaravati: TDP leader Devineni Uma criticized the YSRCP government, stating that the state has been ruined in all aspects during its tenure. He challenged Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for a debate on development and welfare activities under the YSRCP government, proposing TDP youth leader Nara Lokesh as the debater. Uma mentioned that it would not be appropriate to send advisors like Sajjala or Vijayasai for the debate, insisting that Jagan himself should participate.
Uma claimed that during the TDP regime, development and welfare progressed rapidly, likening them to two wheels of a vehicle. He highlighted that development was introduced to Jagan by Chandrababu Naidu when Jagan was young.
Devineni accused the YSRCP government of destroying the future of the state by dismantling industries established during the TDP's tenure. He also criticized the imposition of taxes on garbage by CM Jagan, predicting that the people would eventually reject and expel him for his policies.
