Darshi YSRCP In-Charge Pledges Salary to Volunteers if Elected MLA
Shivaprasad Reddy, the YSRCP in-charge for the Darshi constituency, has declared that if he is elected as an MLA, he will dedicate his entire salary to the welfare of volunteers. This announcement was made during a tribute event for volunteers organized under the auspices of the MPDO in the Talluru Mandal of Prakasam district on Thursday. Both the ZP Chairperson Buchepalli Venkayamma and her son, Shivaprasad Reddy, who is also the in-charge of the Darshi constituency, attended the event. Reddy made several interesting remarks during the occasion.
"If you elect me as MLA, I will spend my entire monthly salary on volunteers. Through the Buchepalli Venkayamma and Subbareddy Charitable Trust, we will provide insurance facilities to the volunteers for free. This process is already underway. Each volunteer covers 50 houses. They should work towards ensuring votes for YSRCP," said Shivaprasad Reddy.
Speaking at the event, ZP Chairperson Venkayamma noted that volunteers currently hold more value than local body representatives.
