Congress Party General Secretary Addanki Dayakar stated that Revanth Reddy is the right person for the Chief Minister of Telangana. He spoke to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday. He criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for becoming a party without a leader. He accused the BJP of appointing Kishan Reddy, who is favorable to KCR, as the BJP's Telangana President. He questioned why exemptions from the Delhi liquor case were given to BRS MLC Kavitha but not to other leaders like Hemant Soren and Sonia Gandhi, despite their busy schedules.
Dayakar questioned why the BJP has not taken any action against the corruption in the Kaleshwaram project and criticized the BJP for shielding KCR's corruption. He warned that they would not spare anyone involved in corruption, including those who granted permissions for the Kaleshwaram project. He stated that the people of the two Telugu states are with Congress, predicting that the BJP will be taught a lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addanki Dayakar expressed hope that his future under Revanth Reddy and the AICC leadership might provide him a good opportunity, suggesting Congress might utilize him effectively.
Dayakar accused the BJP of attempting to disrupt the India alliance, labeling KCR as a favorite of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He alleged that the Centre is attacking leaders supporting the Congress and the India alliance, including Uddhav Thackeray, Hemant Soren, NCP, and other opposition leaders. He accused the BJP and BRS of forming a covert alliance in assembly elections and questioned who protected the Delhi Lieutenant Governor in the liquor case, insinuating attempts to arrest Kejriwal due to an alliance with them.
