"This initiative will provide irrigation water to 6,300 acres and ensure drinking water to the people of both constituencies," he said. After arriving at Renigunta airport on Monday morning, CM Jagan visited Kuppam, paid floral tributes to the statue of YSR, and performed rituals for the Krishna waters. He initiated the water release to Kuppam through the Handri-Neeva canal by pressing a button.
The Krishna waters have already reached Ramakuppam Mandal through the Kuppam branch canal. Officials stated that this project would provide drinking water to the 4.02 lakh population of Kuppam and Palamaner.
