Ongole: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, while distributing house site pattas in Ongole, Prakasam district, launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. CM Jagan accused Naidu of harbouring jealousy and animosity towards the welfare measures being implemented for the poor, alleging that Naidu had instigated 1,191 cases to obstruct the distribution of house sites to the needy.
He criticized Chandrababu Naidu's propaganda against the allotment of house sites in Amaravati, claiming it would disrupt caste balance, and stated that his government overcame all such conspiracies to proceed with the distribution.
CM Jagan labelled Chandrababu Naidu as a political demon, asserting that his malevolence surpasses that of a hundred movie villains combined. He proudly announced the distribution of house site pattas to 21,000 beneficiaries as a historic achievement in the country.
Emphasizing his trust in the people and divine providence over middlemen and corrupt politics, Jagan appealed to the citizens to stand by him as he, a son of the people, strives to bring prosperity to their homes through his governance. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of relying on corrupt intermediaries and claimed that political integrity has deteriorated under leaders like Chandrababu Naidu.
Highlighting the growing public dissent against Naidu even in his stronghold, Kuppam, Jagan mocked the readiness of Naidu's political campaign, suggesting even his own base has lost faith in him.
