Jagan Blames Star Campaigners and Media for Boosting Chandrababu Naidu

Anantapuram: Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, saying that Naidu has never done a good deed and only commits harm, alleging he is backed by a gang of thieves. Jagan claimed that Chandrababu assumes everything is permissible because he has the support of certain media groups, including Ramoji Rao, Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi, TV5, along with a so-called adopted son—commenting on the necessity to respond to them daily. Despite the good governance of YSRCP benefiting every household, Jagan accuses Chandrababu Naidu of believing propaganda works in his favour due to media support.

Speaking at the YSR Asara funds release event in Uravakonda, Anantapur district, Jagan pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu has star campaigners who elevate him without any welfare measures. He cites star campaigners in other parties and states, notably Pawan Kalyan (referred to as the "adopted son") and his sister-in-law Purandeswari, portraying them as promoters for Chandrababu. He criticizes media barons from neighbouring states for constantly campaigning for Chandrababu.

Jagan claims that even a fan of Chandrababu Naidu, who aligns with the party that divided the state, is also a star campaigner for him. He mentions several star campaigners for Chandrababu, including those from parties represented by the colors yellow and lotus (an indirect reference to TDP and BJP), and are visible on stages and television supporting him. He alleges that many people carry the burden of uplifting Chandrababu.

Contrasts this with his position, where he says he has no star campaigners except for the sisters from each family who are the real beneficiaries of the welfare measures introduced by his government, effectively making them the star campaigners of his governance.
