AP: Chinturu revenue division created with four mandals
Amaravati, October 26: To bring administration closer to people, the AP government created a new ‘Chinturu’ revenue division with four mandals in Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Yetapaka, Chinturu, Kunavaram and Vararamachandrapuram mandals will come under Chinturu revenue division. Special Chief Secretary (Revenue) G. Sai Prasad issued a notification in this regard.
People of Chinturu mandal have requested Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to set up a separate revenue division for them when he visited flood-hit villages recently. Creation of new revenue division will speed up land acquisition, payment of compensation and rehabilitation of displaced due to Polavaram Project. People’s representatives, political leaders and people have thanked the CM for setting up a new division.
