I gave crores of rupees to KCR for sustaining T-agitation reveals Komatireddy Rajagopal
Nalgonda, October 10: Former MLA and BJP leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy filed nomination as a BJP candidate for Munugode by-election on Monday. Responding to allegations levelled by the TRS, Rajagopal revealed to the media that he gave crores of rupees to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) when he was leading an agitation to achieve separate statehood to Telangana.
The BJP leader faulted the TRS for adopting double standards. “When I gave money, the TRS leaders kept quiet. Now, foisting false charges against my companies which I have started much before I entered politics,” he mentioned and claimed that he has been running business entities with honesty and integrity along with his brother Anil Reddy.
Currently, there are 5,000 employees in my firms, said Rajagopal and criticised the TRS for trying tarnish the image of his business firms as they cannot match him politically. Voting to Munugode will take place on November 3.
