Chandrababu to get more security, NSG commandos number doubled
Amaravati, August 26: Based on intelligence reports regarding lapses in Z-plus security provided to TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, NSG DIG Simardeep Singh on Thursday inspected the residence of Chandrababu in Undavalli and TDP central office at Mangalagiri. Later, he held a meeting with NSG commandos providing security to the TDP supremo.
Speaking to the media, MLC Ashok Babu said that the DIG visited to remove lapses in Chandrababu’s security. “NSG took into consideration series of attacks on the Leader of the Opposition after YSRCP came to power,” he mentioned and alleged that the ruling state government encouraging attacks on the TDP leaders by bribing with money.
Currently, 6 plus 6 NSG commandos are deployed for security cover to Chandrababu under the supervision of DSP rank official. Security to the TDP chief strengthened by allocating 12 more NSG commandos. Elite commandos are responsible for inner security cordon of Chandrababu while outer security will be provided by state police.
