Rescue operation on to search for missing Telugu TV reporter

Jagtial, July 13: Officials launched massive hunt to find missing Telugu TV channel reporter Jameer, who washed away along with car while crossing a culvert between Ramojipeta and Bhupathipur of Raikal mandal.
 
According to reports, Jameer and his journalist friend Latif were returning after covering recue operation of nine farm workers struck in the Godavari river at Bornapalli. As Jameer couldn’t estimate the water flow over the bridge, he drove the car forward. But the gushing flood water swept away the car. Locals managed to rescue Latif. The mishap took place while they were heading to Nirmal district.
