Kantheru: Sunitha attempts suicide alleging TDP politicised her daughter’s torture by Venkayamma’s son
Guntur, June 14: Nallapu Sunitha attempted suicide by hanging to a ceiling in her house at Kantheru village in Tadikonda mandal in the early hours of Tuesday. She was immediately rushed to a government hospital for treatment. As her health condition is critical, she was shifted to the NRI Hospital in Mangalagiri.
Sunitha took extreme step as she was deeply hurt after TDP politicised her daughter’s harassment by Vamsi, son of TDP leader Venkayamma. She alleged that Vamsi had barged into her house and harassed her 17-year-old daughter.
In a selfie video released on Monday, Sunitha claimed that she and Venkayamma have no old rivalry between them. “I am leading a life by running a small grocery shop in my village,” she stated and asked the TDP as to whether it is right to drag a dispute between two families into the media. On Monday, the TDP gave ‘Chalo Kantheru’ call alleging that the YSRCP workers attacked Venkayamma’s son.
