Vizag: Passengers thrash CRPF cop for abusing woman conductor in city bus

Visakhapatnam, May 18: Passengers thrashed a CRPF constable, Satish, for using abusive language against lady bus conductor and assaulting a youngster, who spoke in support of her. 
 
According to police, Satish boarded a RTC bus at Hanumanthavaka and stood on the footboard. Despite bus conductor reminded him to take a seat in the bus, the cop did not heed to her. Instead, Satish asked her to travel on the footboard along with him. 
 
At this juncture, argument broke between Satish and bus conductor. He abused her in filthy language. When some of the college students asked cop to mind his words, he also scolded them in unparliamentarily language. They thrashed the CRPF cop.
 
Bus driver stopped the bus at Venkojipalem and brought the issue to the notice of a constable. Satish was shifted to the police station with the help of passengers. Based on the complaint of bus conductor and college students, the police registered a case and took him into custody.
