Wings India Aviation Show kicks off in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A huge air show has started in Hyderabad on Friday. The Wings India Aviation Show got off to a great start at the Begumpet Airport. The prestigious four-day air show is jointly organised by the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation and FICCI.
The air show was attended by renowned aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus, Pratt & Whitney and aircraft engine manufacturers. Airbus' new aircraft Airbus-350 is a special attraction of the show.
Representatives of the respective companies shared their partnership and future plans with the Indian aviation sector. Airbus sources responded that India was a key trading partner and would supply 2,210 Airbus aircraft to India over the next 20 years.
Aircraft engine maker Pratt & Whitney responded by revealing that they would set up their capability centre in Bangalore next month.
