Development of 3 capitals will be difficult, says Union Minister Athawale
Amaravati: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale made key remarks on three capitals issue when the Andhra Pradesh government and ministers are still batting for their establishment though they are facing the backlash from the opposition for its unilateral decision.
Speaking in Vijayawada on Saturday he said that when development at one capital in Amravati was not going well, the proposal for three capitals is not right. He said that capitals in two places are okay, but the development of three capitals would be difficult.
He suggested that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy should meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ask for Special Status for the state. Jagan should join hands with the BJP for the development of the state, he suggested.
" I will also try to get financial assistance to the state. The YSRCP government was supporting the Central government by lending support to all the bills that are being tabled in Parliament," he said.
