Anil Ravipudi Visits Simhachalam Temple, Announces Chiranjeevi’s Next Film

Renowned director Anil Ravipudi has announced that his upcoming film, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, will be released for Sankranti 2026. The director made this revelation during his visit to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Simhachalam. Music composer Bheems Ceciroleo also accompanied him. The team performed special prayers at the temple, placing the film’s script before the deity. Anil Ravipudi also embraced the temple’s sacred Kappastambham as part of the ritual, and priests conducted a special puja in his name.

Speaking to reporters after the prayers, Anil Ravipudi shared that he considers Visakhapatnam sentimental for his storytelling process. He revealed that this sentiment led him to work on the script for his film with Chiranjeevi in Vizag. The film, he stated, will be a family entertainer and will feature Chiranjeevi’s signature mannerisms, reminiscent of his performances in Gharana Mogudu, Gang Leader, and Rowdy Alludu.

The director confirmed that the script work will be completed within a month, with the shooting scheduled to commence by the end of May or early June 2025.

Anil Ravipudi's recent film, Sankranti Ki Vastunnaam, starring Victory Venkatesh, was released during Sankranti 2024 and became a massive success, grossing over ₹300 crore.
