Amaravati Construction: Chandrababu to Seek Modi’s Support in Delhi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Delhi on Tuesday. During this visit, he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extend an invitation for the resumption of construction activities in Amaravati.

It is already known that funding for Amaravati’s development is being arranged from multiple financial institutions, including the World Bank. In addition to two major financial institutions, HUDCO has also come forward to provide loans. With these financial arrangements, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has already completed the tendering process for several construction projects in Amaravati.

In this context, the alliance government intends to formally invite Prime Minister Modi to inaugurate the renewed construction efforts in Amaravati. Reports indicate that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Members of Parliament have already made all necessary arrangements for Chandrababu Naidu’s Delhi visit.

Meanwhile, on Monday afternoon, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chandrababu Naidu, is set to convene. One of the key agenda items is the approval of the tenders sanctioned by APCRDA for Amaravati’s construction.
