Chandrababu Naidu Criticizes Delay in Nominated Post Recommendations

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference today with ministers, MLAs, MPs, and party leaders, where he discussed the ongoing process of filling nominated posts. He expressed dissatisfaction over the delay caused by some leaders in recommending names for these positions.
Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that only those who have worked hard for the party will be given nominated posts. He instructed party leaders to submit details of dedicated workers, ensuring that deserving individuals are appointed to appropriate positions. He also announced plans to appoint chairpersons for 21 major temples across the state.
The Chief Minister revealed that the government has received 60,000 applications for nominated posts and assured that all applications are being carefully reviewed. He advised aspirants not to be discouraged if they do not receive a position immediately, stating that opportunities will be provided in the next term after the two-year tenure of current appointees ends. He also mentioned that the performance of those already holding nominated positions is being closely monitored.
Chandrababu Naidu urged party leaders to maintain the same level of dignity they upheld while in opposition. He strictly instructed TDP leaders to avoid any form of association with YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders. Addressing allegations that his directives implied discrimination against YSRCP voters, he strongly refuted such claims, asserting that welfare schemes would be implemented without bias. He clarified that political affiliations and government welfare programs are separate matters.
He further stated that it is the responsibility of ministers to prevent internal factionalism within the party. He advised district in-charge ministers to increase their visits to their respective districts and encouraged coordination among the leaders and workers of the three-party alliance.
