Nara Lokesh and Nara Brahmani Attend Mangalagiri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy’s Kalyanotsavam

Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, along with his wife Nara Brahmani, participated in the Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding) of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at the Mangalagiri temple on Thursday midnight at 12:00 AM. The event was part of the temple’s annual Brahmotsavam celebrations.
On behalf of the government, Nara Lokesh and his wife offered pattu vastrams (silk garments) to the deity. The celestial wedding was conducted with grandeur, accompanied by Vedic chants and traditional mangala vadyam (auspicious music). Devotees witnessed the sacred event and sought the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
As part of the rituals, Vedic scholars performed Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, Rakshabandhanam, Madhuparka Nivedanam, Swami Vari Padaprakshalanam, Vishesha Archana, Maha Sankalpam, Muthyapu Talambraal, Brahmamudi, and Mangala Harati.
On the arrival of Nara Lokesh and Nara Brahmani, the temple priests bestowed special blessings upon them. Earlier, temple authorities extended a grand welcome to the couple upon their visit to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. A large number of devotees participated in the event.
