RS Praveen Kumar Accuses Revanth Reddy of Copying KTR’s Electric Vehicle Policy
BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar criticized the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming that his speech at the CII meeting today focused entirely on electric vehicles, a subject KTR had addressed five years ago. He alleged that Revanth Reddy merely repackaged KTR’s earlier ideas on mobility and presented them as his own. “KTR had already issued government orders on electric vehicles long ago, yet today Revanth Reddy is trying to pass them off as new proposals,” Praveen Kumar remarked.
Highlighting KTR’s initiative to bring Formula E car racing to Hyderabad, RS Praveen Kumar stated that it was aimed at creating a buzz in the industry. However, he expressed frustration over Congress labeling this initiative as corrupt. He alleged that Congress leaders are unwilling to engage in meaningful discussions on such topics.
Praveen Kumar further challenged Revanth Reddy to explain how his “Future City” plan differs from KTR’s previously announced “Mobility Valley.” He asked, “When KTR proposed this initiative, you criticized it. But now, when you speak the same words, is it suddenly acceptable?”
Criticizing the Congress leader’s approach, RS Praveen Kumar questioned Revanth Reddy’s commitment to industrial development. “If you continue to pursue vendetta politics and file baseless cases against the previous government's policies, how will companies be encouraged to invest in the state?” he asked. He concluded by stating that industrial growth cannot be achieved as easily as Revanth Reddy’s alleged favoritism towards his associates and family members.
