Why Are Those Responsible for the Deaths Being Protected?: Roja
Former minister and YSRCP leader R.K. Roja expressed her anguish over the deaths of six devotees, alleging that the negligence of the coalition government and the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) administration was responsible for the tragedy. She specifically blamed TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer (EO) Shyamalarao, Additional EO Venkayya Chowdary, and the District Superintendent of Police (SP) for the incident.
Roja stated, "Despite public outrage over the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan only acknowledged the issue to gain public approval." She further claimed that Pawan Kalyan's statements made it clear that key officials in crucial positions, including the TTD Chairman and EO, had failed in their responsibilities, resulting in the loss of six lives.
Questioning Pawan Kalyan's stance, she said, "Why is he not demanding action against TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, EO Shyamalarao, and Additional EO Venkayya Chowdary, who are responsible for this incident?"
Roja alleged that Pawan Kalyan was more concerned with safeguarding his political interests and protecting officials loyal to Chandrababu Naidu than seeking justice for the victims. "Is this what you call protecting Sanatana Dharma?" she asked, further accusing him of prioritizing his political strategies. Referring to the separate visits by the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, she commented, "It clearly shows the strategy behind your actions."
