Visakhapatnam Welcomes Modi, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan with Flower Showers on Roads

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Visakhapatnam to participate in a grand roadshow. He was joined by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The trio, riding a specially designed vehicle, advanced slowly through the streets as crowds showered them with flowers.

Large gatherings were seen on both sides of the road from Siripuram Junction to Andhra University Engineering College. This roadshow, held in the run-up to the elections, was seen as a grander event than the massive roadshow conducted earlier in Vijayawada.

As this is Modi’s first visit to Andhra Pradesh after the NDA alliance secured victory, the state government treated the Prime Minister’s visit as a prestigious event. Elaborate arrangements were made to reflect the celebratory mood at every step of the roadshow.

The vehicle carrying Modi, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan proceeded directly to the Andhra University Engineering College grounds, where a public meeting was organized. The leaders greeted the gathering and moved towards the dais. During this event, Modi is expected to inaugurate several key development projects for Andhra Pradesh.

Once on the stage, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu honored Prime Minister Modi by presenting a statue of Lord Vishnu in his reclining form (Shesha Shayi) and a special gift of Araku coffee. Prominent leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Home Minister Anitha, and Minister Nara Lokesh, were present on the dais alongside Modi.
