Nitish Reddy’s ‘Pushpa’-Style Celebration Sparks Ambati Rambabu’s Satirical Tweet

Telugu cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy made headlines during the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia in Melbourne with his impressive unbeaten century. Prior to this achievement, his half-century celebration caught widespread attention for its unique flair. Emulating the popular "Pushpa" style from the blockbuster film starring Allu Arjun, Nitish celebrated by mimicking the iconic "Taggede Le" gesture, a signature move from the movie.

This celebratory moment not only delighted fans but also became a talking point on social media. Former minister and YSR Congress Party leader Ambati Rambabu shared a video of Nitish’s celebration on Twitter, using it as an opportunity to post a satirical remark. Indirectly targeting the Telangana government, Rambabu tweeted, “How can one believe that troubling the hero of ‘Pushpa,’ who is influencing the world, would elevate Telugu cinema to an international level?”

Many interpreted this comment as a veiled critique of recent developments in Telangana. The video and the tweet have since gone viral.
