After Meeting with Film Industry Leaders, CM Revanth Reddy Makes Key Announcement

Following the stampede incident at the Sandhya Theater during the premiere show of Pushpa-2 and the subsequent controversy surrounding Allu Arjun's alleged arrest, prominent members of the Telugu film industry met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today (Thursday). The meeting resulted in a significant announcement by the Chief Minister concerning the issues facing the industry.

In light of concerns raised by the film industry leaders, CM Revanth Reddy declared the formation of a cabinet subcommittee to study the various challenges and requirements of the Tollywood industry. This committee will include senior government officials alongside representatives from the film fraternity.

The Chief Minister instructed the relevant authorities to proceed with this initiative. The committee will conduct an in-depth review of key industry issues such as ticket price hikes, additional show permissions, and measures to boost the industry's growth. Based on its findings, the committee will prepare a detailed report with recommendations to the government.

The government will implement necessary measures for the development of the Telugu film industry based on these recommendations.
