PV Sindhu and Venkata Datta Sai’s Love Story: A Flight That Changed Everything

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu recently tied the knot with Venkata Datta Sai, the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies. The couple got married on December 22 at 11:20 PM in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in an intimate ceremony attended only by close family and friends. The wedding took place at the Raffles Hotel located on the banks of Udaipur’s Udai Sagar Lake.

Following their wedding, a grand reception was hosted in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening. The event was attended by prominent figures from the film, political, and sports fraternities.

In a recent interview, PV Sindhu shared details about her love story with Venkata Datta Sai. Although Sai was a family friend, Sindhu revealed that their journey of love began during a flight in October 2022.

“We both traveled together on a flight in October 2022. After that journey, everything changed. That trip brought us closer, and it felt like ‘love at first sight.’ From that moment, our love story began,” Sindhu said.

Sindhu also reflected on her engagement, revealing that it was an emotional and private affair with very few attendees. “We wanted to celebrate this significant moment in our lives with only our closest ones, which is why we kept it simple and not grand. It was an emotional and unforgettable moment,” she said during the interview with Vogue India.
