Police Issue Notice to BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy to Appear for Investigation

Masab Tank police have issued a notice to BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, instructing him to appear for investigation at the police station on December 27 at 10:00 AM. The notice pertains to a previously registered case against Kaushik Reddy for allegedly obstructing police duties. Along with him, cases were also filed against 20 of his associates.

The incident in question occurred when Kaushik Reddy visited the police station to lodge a complaint alleging that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IG Shivadhar Reddy were tapping his phone. During this visit, a confrontation took place between Kaushik Reddy and a Circle Inspector (CI). It is alleged that he not only blocked the CI’s vehicle, which was on another assignment, but also made inappropriate comments. Based on a complaint filed by the Banjara Hills CI, Masab Tank police registered a case against the MLA.

Kaushik Reddy was arrested in connection with this case on December 6 and later produced in court. The court granted him bail but instructed him to cooperate with the police investigation. As part of this directive, the police have now summoned him to appear for questioning.
