Indian Women’s Cricket Team Outclasses West Indies in Second ODI

The Indian women’s cricket team secured a remarkable 115-run victory over the West Indies in the second ODI held in Vadodara. Batting first, India posted an imposing total of 358 runs for the loss of five wickets in 50 overs. In response, the West Indies were bowled out for 243 in 46.2 overs, despite a valiant century by Hayley Matthews, who scored 106 runs.

India's bowling attack, led by Deepti Sharma, Sadhu, and Prateek Rawal, claimed two wickets each, while Priya Mishra grabbed three and Renuka Thakur chipped in with one.

Earlier, Indian batter Harleen Deol showcased exceptional form, scoring 115 runs off 103 balls with 16 boundaries. She was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance. Prateek Rawal contributed 76 runs, Smriti Mandhana scored 53, Jemimah Rodrigues added 52, and captain Harmanpreet Kaur made a quick 22.

With this victory, India has sealed the three-match ODI series with an unassailable 2-0 lead.
