Allu Arjun-Revanth Reddy Incident: Tamil Nadu BJP Chief Annamalai Responds

Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has responded strongly to the recent stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Telangana. Speaking to national media, he described the incident as unfortunate and stressed the importance of equal treatment under the law. He criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his remarks regarding the actor Allu Arjun, claiming the comments lacked neutrality.

Annamalai alleged that Revanth Reddy appeared to be in competition with Allu Arjun to prove who the true superstar of Telangana was. He also ridiculed Revanth Reddy by suggesting that he was "acting" even within the Congress Party, calling him the "lead actor" in Telangana politics. He expressed concerns over the political undertones surrounding the Sandhya Theatre incident, condemning any attempts to victimize or harass individuals unjustly.

On a different note, Annamalai welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's participation in Christmas celebrations, praising his efforts to foster peace and harmony in India. He criticized the opposition for politicizing every issue, reminding that Modi had also participated in Christmas celebrations last year. He hailed Modi as a leader for all 1.4 billion Indians and appreciated his commitment to promoting unity.
