Major Forensic Revelations in RG Kar Trainee Doctor Death Case

A new forensic report has brought shocking revelations in the case of the alleged rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, a case that has shaken the nation. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) has reported that no evidence of sexual assault or murder was found in the seminar room on the fourth floor, where the doctor’s body was discovered.

According to the CFSL report submitted to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), there were no signs of a physical struggle or any confrontation between the victim and the accused in the room. Forensic analysis of the blue mattress in the seminar room, along with other traces within the space, revealed no indications of violence. This has raised questions about whether the seminar room was indeed the site of the crime.

The CFSL findings have cast doubt on earlier assumptions and have prompted investigators to reconsider the sequence of events leading to the young doctor's death. The report has suggested the possibility that the crime might have occurred elsewhere.

The case dates back to August 9 of this year, when the body of the junior doctor was found under mysterious circumstances at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Initially, the Kolkata Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) led the investigation but later transferred the case to the CBI.
