Tollywood Will Not Relocate to Andhra Pradesh," Clarifies Naga Vamsi

The stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere show of 'Pushpa-2' has become a hot topic in both Telugu states. Following this, opposition parties have alleged that the Telangana government, angered by Allu Arjun's arrest, is targeting the Telugu film industry.

Amid these developments, some leaders have suggested that if the film industry relocates to Andhra Pradesh, all necessary arrangements will be made. This has sparked rumors that Tollywood might shift its base to Andhra Pradesh. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi addressed these speculations on Monday.

Naga Vamsi, whose upcoming film Daku Maharaj is set to release this Sankranti, spoke about the state of the Telugu film industry during a press meet organized on Monday by the film's team.

Responding to the rumors, he clarified, "The claims about the Telugu film industry relocating to Andhra Pradesh are incorrect. I have built an expensive house here [in Telangana]; what would I do by moving to Andhra Pradesh?" He emphasized that both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are equally important to the Telugu film industry.

When asked about the possibility of an upcoming meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Naga Vamsi stated that he had no information regarding such an event.
