Known for his signature style and impeccable comic timing, Rajendra Prasad reflected on his journey in the film industry.

"I have always been a mischievous person since childhood. After completing my studies, I wandered for a while without taking up a job. Eventually, I realized what I wanted to do," he shared. "Director Vamsi made me a hero with the film Preminchu Pelladu. He then gave me a hit with Ladies Tailor. Since that movie, there was no turning back. I went on to do 12 films a year, which I consider a blessing from God."

He credited filmmakers of that era for shaping his career. "Producers, directors, and writers created unique roles specifically for me. These were not typical hero roles but characters inspired by real-life personalities seen in society," he explained.

"Characters like Appula Appa Rao and Pekata Papa Rao were relatable because they mirrored everyday people. Since the audience saw me as one of their own, they connected with those roles. My career thrived on small-budget films becoming big hits. It is this acceptance that has kept me going for so many years," he concluded.
