Rohit Sharma Disappoints Again in the Gabba Test; Faces Social Media Trolls

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma's struggles with the bat continue. In the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Brisbane's Gabba Stadium, Rohit disappointed once again during the first innings. The "Hitman" faced 27 balls but managed to score only 10 runs before getting out. Despite hopes that he would deliver when the team was in trouble, he failed to stay at the crease for long.

Batting at the sixth position, Rohit appeared uncertain throughout his innings, struggling against Australia's pace attack. He faced significant difficulty handling the swinging deliveries. Ultimately, he was dismissed after edging a Pat Cummins delivery to wicketkeeper Alex Carey.

Frustrated Indian cricket fans expressed strong dissatisfaction with Rohit's repeated failures. Following his dismissal at the Gabba Test, social media platforms erupted with trolls and memes targeting the Indian captain. Fans also raised concerns about his consistently poor performances. Notably, Rohit had failed in the second Test as well.

In his last 13 Test innings, Rohit has been dismissed for single-digit scores eight times, accumulating only 152 runs at an average of 11.69, including a solitary half-century. Besides Rohit, star batters Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal also struggled in the Gabba Test, while KL Rahul was the only standout performer with a commendable score of 84 runs.
