Gabba Test: Rishabh Pant Achieves Another Record!

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has added another remarkable milestone to his career during the ongoing third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia at the Gabba. The second day's play resumed after the first day was interrupted by rain, with Australia scoring 28 runs without losing a wicket before play was halted. With improved weather conditions, the game resumed on the second day, and the hosts reached 139 runs for the loss of three wickets.

This match marks the 41st Test appearance for Rishabh Pant. He claimed a crucial catch behind the stumps, dismissing Australian opener Usman Khawaja off Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling. This dismissal secured Pant's 150th wicketkeeping dismissal in Test cricket, comprising 135 catches and 15 stumpings.

Pant now ranks third among Indian wicketkeepers with the most Test dismissals. Former Indian captain MS Dhoni leads the list with 294 dismissals, followed by Syed Kirmani with 198 dismissals.
