Sandhya Theatre Stampede Incident: Boy Sriteja on Ventilator

Following the stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa-2 premiere on December 4, a 35-year-old woman named Revathi lost her life, while her eight-year-old son, Sriteja, sustained severe injuries. He is currently receiving treatment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at KIMS Cuddles Hospital in Secunderabad, where he remains on a ventilator.

According to doctors, Sriteja has been experiencing intermittent fever and is being closely monitored. They stated that he is being fed through tubes and continues to be under intensive medical supervision.

In response to the tragedy, actor Allu Arjun and director Sukumar extended their apologies to the affected family. Allu Arjun also announced financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to Revathi's family.

In connection with the incident, Allu Arjun, who was arrested on Friday, was released on bail the following day. Additionally, police have arrested Sandhya Theatre co-owner M. Sandeep, senior manager M. Nagaraju, and lower-balcony in-charge Gandhakam Vijay Chander as part of the investigation.
