Allu Arjun’s Night Behind Bars at Chanchalguda Jail
In a dramatic turn of events, Pushpa Hero Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday afternoon in connection with a stampede incident outside Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa-2 premiere show. Following the arrest, he was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days and sent to Chanchalguda Jail. Due to a delay in receiving interim bail orders issued by the Telangana High Court, Allu Arjun had to spend Friday night in jail. He was released the next morning and returned home on Saturday.
According to reports, jail authorities assigned prisoner number 7697 to Allu Arjun during his time in custody. Although officials provided food, the actor reportedly did not eat and spent the night sleeping on the floor like other inmates. Sources indicate that a special barrack in the Manjeera Block was allocated to him.
Advocate Ashok Reddy, representing Allu Arjun, alleged that despite the High Court’s interim bail orders being received by jail authorities, they failed to release the actor on Friday. He criticized this as unlawful detention and warned of legal action against the responsible officials.
