Congress MP Chamala Criticizes Political Exploitation of Allu Arjun’s Arrest

Congress MP from Bhongir, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, expressed concerns over the consequences of a VIP's alleged provocative actions, claiming that a family has been orphaned due to such behavior. His remarks came in the context of the recent arrest of actor Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre.

Chamala criticized the lack of attention given to the family affected by the tragedy, alleging that political parties are only interested in exploiting the arrest for political gain. He accused BRS and BJP leaders of pursuing such agendas.

The MP stressed that law and order should not differ between Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, emphasizing the need for consistent policing practices. He advised against politicizing every incident, recalling past occurrences where similar cases were filed against VIPs. Chamala expressed hope that this incident would prompt VIPs to exercise greater caution in the future, entrusting the matter to law enforcement and the judicial system.
