I Am Happy to Have Such a Friend: CM Chandrababu
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu participated in the unveiling ceremony of the “Swarnandhra-2047 Vision Document.” Addressing the gathering after the document’s release, he expressed optimism about setting a new course for the state.
“We launched the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 today, which will reshape the destiny of our people and future generations. This initiative aims to make the Telugu community number one globally,” said Chandrababu Naidu.
Reflecting on his political journey, he noted, “I have seen many elections since 1978, but the 2024 elections were unique. It was the first time I witnessed a 93% success rate and 57% vote share. Pawan Kalyan observed the situation early and insisted that anti-incumbency votes should not be divided. His commitment to working together made a significant difference.”
He lauded Pawan Kalyan for his consistent support, stating, “In 2014 and again in 2024, Pawan Kalyan prioritized the welfare of the state over personal gains. I am fortunate to have such a trustworthy friend.”
Discussing Andhra Pradesh's challenges, he remarked, “Despite my extensive experience and four terms as Chief Minister, I couldn’t understand the extent of damage caused by the previous administration. We are now rebuilding the state step by step. Just six months into our coalition government, we have presented the Swarnandhra-2047 Vision Document as a testament to our unwavering commitment.”
Chandrababu Naidu also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in making India a global power. “By 2047, as we celebrate 100 years of independence, India should be among the top nations. Inspired by PM Modi’s Developed India-2047 agenda, we launched the Swarnandhra-2047 Vision Document to ensure Andhra Pradesh leads alongside India.”
He set a bold economic target, stating, “Our current per capita income is less than $3,000. By 2047, we aim to raise it to $42,000.”
Recalling Andhra Pradesh’s developmental journey, he said, “Earlier, Hyderabad and Secunderabad were the only major cities. Where others saw rocks and hills in West Hyderabad, I envisioned a world-class city. Today, Hyderabad stands as a symbol of our foresight, contributing to Telangana's position as the state with the highest per capita income in India.”
Quoting Pawan Kalyan’s words, he concluded, “While others saw only rocks, I saw a future metropolis like Singapore, Dubai, or New York City. That vision laid the foundation for what Hyderabad has become today.”
