Pushpa-2 Ticket Prices Reduced from Today!
The much-awaited film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, has taken the box office by storm, collecting ₹621 crore worldwide within three days of release, according to the movie's makers. However, the steep hike in ticket prices due to government-approved increases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana left many moviegoers hesitant to watch the film in theaters.
In a relief to fans, ticket prices for Pushpa 2 have now been reduced. The Telangana government earlier allowed a slab-based ticket price hike for the film. From December 9 to 16, single-screen tickets were capped at ₹105, while multiplex tickets could be priced up to ₹150.
However, according to the popular online ticketing platform BookMyShow, the ticket prices in the Nizam region seem lower than the approved rates. Single-screen tickets are priced at ₹200 (additional GST), while multiplex tickets cost ₹395 (additional GST), indicating that theaters may not have fully utilized the government-approved price hike.
In Vijayawada, single-screen tickets are priced at ₹220, while multiplex tickets are ₹300. Similarly, in Visakhapatnam, single-screen tickets are ₹295, and multiplex prices range from ₹300 to ₹377, depending on the theater and seating category.
