Visiting Delhi Feels Unpleasant! Says Nitin Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed his dissatisfaction with visiting Delhi due to the rising pollution levels in the national capital. Speaking on the issue, he mentioned that he dislikes staying in Delhi and that the pollution often causes him infections, making him hesitant to visit the city.

Gadkari stated that every time he plans a visit to Delhi, he is forced to contemplate whether to go or not, due to the fear of pollution. He emphasized that reducing the use of fossil fuels is the best solution to combat pollution.

Highlighting the country’s dependence on fossil fuel imports, Gadkari pointed out that India currently spends ₹22 lakh crore annually on importing fossil fuels. This heavy reliance has a significant impact on the economy, environment, and biodiversity.

He advocated for the promotion of alternative fuels as a way to reduce the dependency on fossil fuel imports. According to Gadkari, transitioning to cleaner energy sources would not only help reduce pollution but also strengthen the country’s economic and environmental sustainability.
