YCP's Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar’s Business Ventures Face Crackdown Under New Government

Senior YCP leader and former Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar has been dealt another blow under the coalition government. A prawn processing unit owned by his family has been ordered to shut down. Authorities had earlier identified violations at the unit located in Gurajanapalli, Karapa Mandal, Kakinada district, and closed it down on August 6 this year.

Recently, the Pollution Control Board (PCB) Visakhapatnam Zonal Office issued fresh orders to shut down another unit named Veerabhadra Exports, located near Lampakalova in Prattipadu Mandal. Inspections conducted after the coalition government came to power revealed several violations. Despite prior notices from the PCB to rectify these irregularities, the management failed to comply, prompting the issuance of closure orders.
