Sukumar’s Emotional Speech
Director Sukumar spoke passionately about his collaboration with Allu Arjun, saying, “Pushpa-1 and Pushpa-2 happened because of the love I have for Bunny. Our bond is like an exchange of energy.” Highlighting Allu Arjun's dedication, Sukumar said, “For even the smallest expression, Bunny puts in incredible effort—whether it’s moving an eyelid or delivering a perfect voice modulation. That level of commitment inspires any filmmaker.”
Sukumar revealed that when the project began, he didn’t have a full story. “I just narrated a couple of scenes. But Bunny’s energy drives me to create. Pushpa has set a new benchmark, and everyone involved had to rise to that level,” he said. Sukumar apologized for taking three years of Allu Arjun’s prime time, adding, “I can’t trouble him with Pushpa-3 anytime soon.”
He credited cinematographer Kuba Brożek for his exceptional vision, saying, “I can’t imagine a single frame without him.” He also praised Rashmika Mandanna for her portrayal of Srivalli, noting, “Her close-ups leave me in awe, and sometimes she performs perfectly without further explanation.”
Sukumar lauded Sreeleela for her performance in the item song, saying, “Your moves are amazing, and your Telugu is adorable. God bless you.” He also commended composer Devi Sri Prasad, saying, “Your background score for the climax is phenomenal and elevated the film.”
Sukumar expressed pride in the Pushpa team and their collective effort in creating a film that has already set high expectations among fans and critics alike.
