Protests in Visakhapatnam Over Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh

Unrest in Bangladesh has escalated in recent times, with reports of attacks on Hindus alongside political instability, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina being forced to step down and the formation of a temporary government. The reverberations of these incidents were felt in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam.

Today, members of the Jana Jagaran Samiti and Hindu religious organizations organized protests near the International Hostel at Andhra University. They raised slogans condemning the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and demanded that Bangladeshi students staying in local hostels return to their home country.

Police intervened to control the situation and restore order. Protesters were arrested as part of these efforts.
