YS Viveka Murder Case: Supreme Court Issues Notice to YS Bhaskar Reddy

The Supreme Court has issued notices to YS Bhaskar Reddy, father of YSR Congress Party MP YS Avinash Reddy, in connection with the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. The Telangana High Court had earlier granted bail to Bhaskar Reddy, who is an accused in the case. However, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of this bail.

A bench led by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna reviewed the petition and subsequently issued notices to Bhaskar Reddy. The case has been adjourned to March for further hearings.

The murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy occurred over five years ago, and the CBI has been investigating the case for an extended period. Despite this, the investigation has yet to reach a conclusive resolution.
