Nara Lokesh's Innovative Idea Boosts TDP Membership Registration

Under the leadership of Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) National General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh, the party’s membership enrollment drive has achieved a remarkable milestone. In the 43-year history of the party, this initiative recorded unprecedented growth by enrolling over five million members in just 29 days. The drive, which began on October 26, reached the 5-million mark within this short period.

As per the latest updates, Rajampeta constituency topped the list with 93,299 memberships. It was followed by Kuppam with 82,176 members, Kalyandurg with 77,720, Palakollu with 72,720, and Mangalagiri with 65,899 memberships.

Significantly, this year saw a resurgence in membership registration from Telangana, which is being regarded as a positive development. The membership fee of ₹100 now includes an enhanced accidental insurance cover of ₹5 lakh, compared to ₹2 lakh previously.

For the first time, TDP has implemented advanced technological solutions for the membership drive. Under the guidance of Lokesh, a new referral system was introduced in the party. Lokesh personally called and congratulated top-performing members at the state, district, and constituency levels. This approach has motivated not only party legislators and senior leaders but also second-tier leadership to work with renewed enthusiasm.

The introduction of a recognition system for hardworking cadre through the referral system has further energized grassroots workers. Every effort by booth-level workers is being digitally recorded at the central office. This data-driven approach ensures that candidates are selected for positions based on merit rather than recommendations. This method was also applied during the recently announced nominated posts within the party.
