She shared her excitement about this role on social media, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Union Home Department for entrusting her with this responsibility.

Rashmika Mandanna's Statement: "A few months ago, a deepfake video featuring me was circulated on social media, which is an act of cybercrime. After that incident, I committed myself to raising awareness about cybercrimes and fighting against them. I am grateful to the Union Home Department for supporting my mission and offering me the opportunity to serve as the brand ambassador for Indian Cyber Crime Coordination.

Cybercriminals use numerous tactics to mislead and exploit people, and it’s crucial to be alert and protect ourselves from these scams. As the I4C ambassador, I will continue to promote awareness about the dangers of cybercrime and educate the public on how to stay safe."
